Description:
The 1926 Alco-Richmond built Mikado lasted until 1954. The date on the front of the photo may be when this photo was taken at an unknown yard. History - Alco-Richmond, 6/1926, Specs - Ms-4 class, 63", 200 psi, 27x32" cylinders, engine weight of 325,000 lb and tractive effot of 59,900 lb. After serving nearly 27 years, the loco was sold for scrap in August of 1953. No exact date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
