Local parked ovnr night at Ontario, Oregon. Note: Number 3 on cab side is painted on cab projection. This may not be the Same UP 3262 shown in CA. several decades earlier on this site.& Anyone know? UP huntington Sub.

Tony Fernandez General Floyd, I'd venture to say YES. The horn was moved from over #1 radiator fan to the cab roof in the early 80s as part of the UP effort to improve horn audibility at grade crossings, but otherwise, it's surely the same unit. UP #3262 wast built Jun 1974. It was renumbered #8022 in May 1976, and then returned to its original number #3262 in Apr 1981. 4/18/2008 12:19:01 PM
