| Passing through Santa Ana Canyon is Metrolink train 817, recently placed back into service from downtown Riverside to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo. This was a train taken out of service when the COVID-19 pandemic began, but was recently reinstated (even though the disease is now at record levels). Metrolink 694; a Hyundai-Rotem CTC-5 cab car, is leading this train at milepost 35.6 on the BNSF Railway’s San Bernardino Sub, and at the end of this six car train is F125 913.
