Here is page six of an 18-page article by W.R. Osborne entitled "Greatest Show On Earth: New York Division, P.R.R." It was published originally in the January 1942 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 13. Partial Caption: "Every train entering or leaving Pennsylvania's New York City station from the west must use this double-track high line across the Jersey Meadows to Newark, which thus ranks as the busiest double-track railroad."

Tom Beckett General That's not Hackensack, which is farther north on the namesake river. It's most likely Secaucus, west of the North River tunnel portal, which is below US 1-9 just west of Bergen Hill. 10/17/2019 4:16:12 AM
