Relic of a bygone era  Contributor's Pick!       
Another caboose that was in Thayer was this Frisco car, which appears to be sitting on panel track. I dont recall the specifics at this point, so perhaps a trip there is in order.

Paul Hawkins General Built at the Frisco car shop, called the cow barn. Built out of a boxcar, with that car number it might have been the first one built. Built around 1975/76, it's missing the sill steps, we put steel over the windows in the late 1970's, early 1980's. 8/8/2018 10:10:59 PM
