Built by GE on 9/1978 as CR-1962, it was transforred to CSX as their CSX 3164 during the CR breakup. Eventually it was sold to Tennessee Southern as their #3164. Thi is a Frank Spieles photo

Tom Beckett General Not sure which way this train is going-my knowledge of the ex LV is a bit sketchy once away from Sayre-but it's one of the Allentown-Corning NY pairs, making it either ALCG or CGAL, or one of the variations over the years; the end points also were Frontier Yard in Buffalo, or Oak Island in Newark, and there were OICG/CGOI and ALBU/BUAL symbols. Anything on the roster could show up, and these units were not unusual. 1/7/2025 5:36:30 AM
