| A comfortably-clad trainman on the rear of Espee train First 241 grabs his train orders for operator Glenn Carrier at Raceland Junction. The "temporary" train order office had been placed here about 10 years earlier, after the real depot had been damaged by a derailment; and it remained in use until the introduction of Direct Train Control in 1985 eliminated the need for train order offices. |
