AEX 15907 (CanAm Covered Hopper) - BNSF 793454 (Ice-Pack Livery Reefer) in a non-gratuitous shot... its to show this is the local return-to-Class I string being pulled out/down from the hill by BNSF paired powered... which will pause once she clears the point to the right (south), then reverse to grab the next line of Class-I-to-Local-CBRW strings in the yard behind this pair of cars, pull south clear the point, pause, reverse a final time to grab the far line of Class-I-to-Local-CBRW (the length of this particular cut to go to local being longer than any single rungs of the Connell Ladder yard) pull south, then drop it all on the main... which the CBRW quad power group will gun it hard to back down onto the main to grab this double-length string to hustle it up the hill, just clearing the main point to pause and get everything tested and settled before proceeding up and all the way out of Connell. See? This _isnt_ just a random shot of a couple pieces of the rolling stock puzzle! I had a reason to shoot it! (other than being happy to be out of the rain and out of the house.) |
